Just around the corner from my nice apartment ppl are getting evicted. Damn.
Black people rant.
Black people in South Africa overcame years of oppression by banding together, sharing resources and being active. But now that we have freedom all I see in the legendary township of Soweto is black men and women doing less than their potential.
Yes I did not neccesarily grow up in Soweto but I’ve lived and experienced it. I’ve seen struggle in my own right, racism, depression etc. I grew up with nothing to suffer for financially so I can’t say I completely understand but I have on question.
WHERE THE FUCK IS THW BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN THAT STOOD UP AGAINST OPPRESSION?
Where?
We seem so lost in protest and being entitled in things we need. Yes the government has failed our race heck the world has failed our race but the truth is the world isn’t a nice place. You’ve got to take what is yours even if it isn’t.
Soweto was supposed to be the leader in black progress but all I see is a few business and the rest bleh. Nothing.
Yes I am generalising because the world sees us as one and I for one am tired of being embarresses by my people who feel in titled and our leaders who couldn’t give a fuck about my peoples needs and would rather serve themselves.
So fuck black people. Fuck the ANC. Fuck the ANC. Fuck the ignorant mentalities we posses as a collective. I hate it.
